A Match Made in Heaven

Literally...

It is funny to me (and frustrating at times) how totally opposite my husband and I are. Last week I was reassured that it's not all in my head...it's also on iGoogle. Our internet homepage is iGoogle...Paul rarely uses our home computer, he brings his home from the office most nights to work. Whenever I get on the internet, my personal iGoogle page pops up with all of my own settings. I would have never even guessed that Paul would have taken the time to even personalize his iGoogle page, but the other night I got on the computer after Paul (our home one) and he had not logged off of his iGoogle page, so it opened to it when I got on the internet.

Funny For The Day

This cracked me up. Although we don't have big brothers, we are inundated with Polly Pockets. Never seen one quite like this though!

When a Girl Has Big Brothers...

My Treadmill was a coat rack...

...so I sold it at my last garage sale...I needed the money to buy bigger jeans.

I'm afraid that if I lose weight...well, let's face it...I just might be...the full package! What do they call it...a triple threat! Personality, good looks and great body! Right now it's safe...Two out of three, everyone can handle that. It's hard to be friends with someone who's perfect...so I just look at it like this...I'm doing my friends a favor. Imagine how hard it would be to be Me...and a size 2! It's too much!

So my prayer is this...Lord, if you won't make me skinny...would you at least make my friends fat.

Tenball Anyone?

So this morning I remind E that her very first tennis clinic is this afternoon after school. Don't forget, blah, blah, blah, hugs and kisses, blah, blah, blah..and she runs out the door. She calls back over her shoulder, "Mom, do you think I'll get to pitch?"

Bless her heart.

Tennis comes and goes, she does a great job and I think maybe she's getting the hang of it and was just confused this morning, since some of her other friends are playing t-ball. (Not that she'd get to pitch in t-ball, but let's just give her the benefit of the doubt.)

In the car ride home, I overhear her proudly announcing ".....and I hit it over the fence every time!"

We don't get out much.

So tonight on the way home from dinner she asks me "Mom, what was my coach's name?" "E, did he not tell you his name?" "Well, he did but I couldn't hear him because I had on my sunglasses."

Thank goodness she's beautiful, that's all I'm saying.
